Seasonal positions now available!
AFNHA AmeriCorps members provide a term of National Service, allowing an individual to benefit local communities & landscapes while gaining professional experience & strengthening skills.
In the current program year, Full Time (1700 hours), 1 year term AmeriCorps members receive a $21,000 living stipend, a $7,395 education award upon completion, and may be eligible for a WV Public Higher Education Tuition Waiver. Part time positions may be available at pro-rated levels of benefits.
Depending on length of service term and position, a Public Lands Preferred Employment Status may be available through the US Forest Service or US Fish and Wildlife Agencies for eligible Members!
