Host and AmeriCorps Member

Applications will soon Open for Site Sub-Sponsors to host AmeriCorps Members for 2025-2026 Program Year

To Qualify as an AFNHA AmeriCorps site:

  • Sites must be non-profit or governmental organizations within the 16 West Virginia AFNHA counties

  • Project-based positions should support asset improvement or educational stewardship related to 

    • Environmental conservation

and / or

  • Community cultural heritage development

  • Sites are responsible for

    • Supervision, including recruiting, supporting member, and reporting, 

    • Cash match site fee of expected $6,000 for full-time position 

    • In-kind match reporting of time and expenses
