Event Posting Guidelines

Eligibility:

  • The event must occur within the 18 counties in our National Heritage Area region.

  • The event may not advocate for any particular political or religious group but may include non-partisan or non-denominational events or activities.

  • Event content and host organizations should align with our National Heritage Area Themes and Core Values

  • The event should be accessible to the general public regardless of physical ability

Application Instructions: 

  • Event Title: [Clearly state the event name]

  • Host Organizer: [Name of the organization hosting the event]

  • Contact Information: [Email address and phone number for inquiries]

Event Details:

  • Date and Time: [Specify the date and time of the event, including start and end times] The Listing should be submitted at least 10 days before the event.

  • Location: [Full address of the venue, including any relevant access information]

  • Description: [A concise summary of the event, including purpose, key activities, and target audience]

Submission Requirements:

  • Event Category: [Select the appropriate category from the provided list (e.g., Workshop, Conference, Community Event, etc)]

  • Image: [High-quality image relevant to the event, with proper file format and size specifications] jpg, png, webp landscape

  • Website Link (if applicable): [Provide a link to the event's dedicated website for further details]

Content Guidelines:

  • Accessibility: Ensure event details clearly state any accessibility accommodations available.

  • Clear Language: Use straightforward language for easy understanding.

  • Accuracy: Verify all event information for correctness before submitting.

Promotional Information:

  • Target Audience: [Briefly describe the ideal attendees for this event. Please state any restrictions such as ticket price or limited availability, age-restrictions, members only, etc.]

  • Key Features: [Highlight the most compelling aspects of the event, such as speakers, activities, or unique benefits.]

  • Call to Action: [Clearly state what you want attendees to do, like "Register now" or "Save the date"]

Important Considerations:

  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant guidelines and regulations for event promotion.

  • Timely Updates: Notify the platform if any significant changes occur to event details.

By submitting an event posting, you agree to the terms outlined in these guidelines. All submissions will be approved at the discretion of the administrator. Event listings are not automatically updated. Please contact us or submit a new listing if you have new information or see an inaccurate listing.
