Emergency Repair

If you are experiencing an emergency and need repairs to your heating and/or cooling systems or financial assistance to pay your heating and cooling bills, you can apply for the LIHEAP Emergency Repair and Replacement Program on the West Virginia Bureau for Family Assistance and follow the link to your local Department of Human Services office. If you live in Maryland, apply through Maryland’s Office of Energy Programs. 

To be eligible, households must meet the maximum gross monthly Income limits and fall into one of the following categories:

• Disabled (determined by the SSA) 

•  Age 60+ 

•  Housing a child 5 years or under
