Sara Volkmann, the leader of our Hands On Team, recently sat down and talked to us about historic preservation on our podcast, Voices of the Forest. As its name implies, the Hands On Team works with their hands (and also tools) to restore buildings around the Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area. The Hands On Team just finished up doing some demolition work at the Golden Rule, a former department Store in Belington West Virginia.
